What was needed by our customer was a project manager with many years of IT experience, the ability to mentor and build teams, prior experience with tools such as Jira, Rally, and VersionOne, excellent communication skills, risk management skills, along with the ability to manage more than one project with resources located globally. The resource would also need a background in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies in order to address a blended project management approach.
