Customer Background
Our customer is one of the largest enterprises with 293 departmental stores across 16 states of the southern United States. They came into existence in the late 1800s with a small bargain store and now have grown into one of the largest privately held departmental store.
The Business Requirement
What was needed by our customer was a project manager with many years of IT experience, the ability to mentor and build teams, prior experience with tools such as Jira, Rally, and VersionOne, excellent communication skills, risk management skills, along with the ability to manage more than one project with resources located globally. The resource would also need a background in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies in order to address a blended project management approach.

Based upon our experience in this area, we were able to provide a proven Project Manager with 30 years of experience in the project management/business analyst space. The resource had a PMP certification, while also having formalized training
in Six Sigma, Agile/Lean methodologies, and leadership.
Additionally, the candidate had skills with technical delivery management, software configurations, quality assurance, and change management. All of these skills and experience allowed the candidate to be a true asset to the client.
