Description: Responsible and Managing Network Infrastructure (Routers, Switches & WAN Optimizers). Monitoring Infra devices through the CA spectrum and acting upon the alerts generated. Network performance monitoring through CA e-Health and generating reports. Troubleshooting WAN links on the media related problems like Asymmetric routing issues, Link failure, errors in media, Latency issues, Low reliability and packet drop issues and etc. Troubleshooting LAN issues like L2 loops, Port blocks, VLAN/Trunking mismatches and Switch hardware failures. Administering WLAN controllers and APs , Troubleshooting WLAN connectivity issues. Coordinating and working with Kohler Counterpart Teams, ISPs/LSPs globally to ensure speedy fault resolution. Administering the Cisco (C160) Email Security Appliance and responsible for email spoofing Quarantine as per company policy and releasing the trusted emails and whitelisting the email senders as requested by users. Administering the Riverbed WAN Optimizers and providing L2 support. Coordinating with Vendor regarding RMA related issues and replacing the faulty devices. Administering Steelheads through the SCC/CMC (Central Management Controller) RiOS Upgradation/Degradation Working on Network/Device Performance related issues. IP address management through the MS IPAM (like IP address reservation/Deletion and IP Subnet creation/deletion) Taking backups of all network devices configurations weekly by using SolarWinds KIWI CatTools. Working and managing Incidents, Problem records and Change requests through Service-Now ITSM tool Working on major incidents is top priority. Preparing Network maps using MS Visio and maintaining them up to date.
